Disadvantages of carbon fiber rims

1. It is difficult to maintain, and some carbon frames even require regular application of a protective layer.
2. Its toughness is not as good as cheap steel frames and common aluminum alloys.
3. Once it is deformed or cracked, there will be small cracks, which are potentially dangerous but not easy to detect.
4. It will be very troublesome to connect it with parts made of other materials. Drilling cannot be done, and the pressure plate transmission cannot be directly fixed with screws.
