The carbon fiber tube winding molding process is to wind the continuous fiber (or cloth tape, pre-impregnated yarn) soaked in resin glue onto the core mold according to a certain rule, and then solidify and demold to obtain the product. According to the different physical and chemical states of the resin matrix during fiber winding molding, the winding process of the carbon fiber tube is also different.
1. Spiral winding
During spiral winding, starting from a certain point on the core membrane introduced by the winding head, the winding head goes back to the original starting point after several round trips. It can also be said that the basic movement of spiral winding is that the core membrane rotates at a uniform speed around the axis, and the winding head makes intermittent reciprocating motion along the axis of the core membrane.
2. Annular winding
During winding, the core membrane rotates at a uniform speed around its own axis, and the winding head moves at a uniform speed along the axis of the core membrane cylinder. For every rotation of the core membrane, the winding head moves a gauze width, and the cycle continues until the gauze belt is evenly covered on the surface of the core membrane cylinder section. The winding angle of circumferential winding is usually between 85-90°. The winding speed ratio of circumferential winding can be defined as the ratio of the number of core film revolutions per unit time to the distance the winding head moves.
3. Longitudinal winding
During longitudinal winding, the winding head makes uniform circular motion in a fixed plane, and the core film rotates slowly around its own axis. For each revolution of the winding head, the core film rotates a small angle, which is reflected on the surface of the core film as the width of a gauze.
The complete carbon fiber tube winding molding process includes the preparation of raw materials, the molding of the inner lining layer, the winding reinforcement, and the demolding.
