The Concept

Three Great Skis, One All-Conditions Hull

The Falcon is an amalgamation of the SEA, the SEI G2 and the S18SX - combining their strengths into a single intermediate hull. High stability meets a low wetted surface area, with improved rocker and stern fairing for speed on the flats and agility in the swell.

Comfort and control come standard: a 3rd-generation rounded seat that eliminates hot spots and boosts rotation, an optimized rudder position with a rounder stern keel for short-ski handling, water-shedding handles, and added bow-deck volume for a drier ride.

Features

Built for Every Condition

Stability, speed and comfort - the Falcon refuses to pick one.

FAQ

The Falcon, Unpacked

What paddlers ask about the all-conditions intermediate.

Q: What is the Falcon built from?

A: It is an amalgamation of three Stellar skis - the SEA, the SEI G2 and the S18SX - combining their strengths into one intermediate all-conditions hull.

Q: Is it fast or is it stable?

A: Both. High stability pairs with a low wetted surface area, so the Falcon is fast on the flats while still being an easy, forgiving boat to paddle.

Q: What's special about the 3rd-generation seat?

A: Its very rounded back eliminates hot spots and encourages torso rotation, which translates into a more powerful stroke over long sessions.

Q: Why does it handle like a much shorter ski?

A: An optimized rudder position and a rounder keel in the stern make it unusually agile for its 19'6" length - quick to turn and responsive in the swell.

Q: What does "all conditions" actually mean?

A: Flats, open water, surf, and even class I/II rivers with the Multi-Sport build. The Falcon's stability, agile handling and drier bow deck cover the range.

Q: Falcon vs Fusion - which one should I choose?

A: The Fusion is Stellar's tandem (two-seat) intermediate ski - choose it if you paddle with a partner or teach. The Falcon is the single-seat intermediate: lighter, nimbler and faster for solo paddling.

Q: Which construction should I pick?

A: Alpha for the lightest, stiffest ride at 24.5 lb; Excel for Kevlar impact strength; Multi-Sport if you paddle rapids and shallows - it comes with the over-stern rudder, under-stern fittings and an Andersen bailer; Advantage for the best value and toughness with Soric-core puncture resistance.

Q: Falcon vs SEA - how do they differ?

A: The SEA is a pure racing ski for elite paddlers with the narrowest waterline in the line. The Falcon is the intermediate all-rounder - more stability, easier to paddle, and available in four builds including the budget-friendly Advantage.
