Stellar Convertible Carbon Fiber Kayak
A convertible kayak must be excellent twice over: a fast solo cruiser and a stable double. The ST19's optional second cockpit bolts through engineered bulkhead points instead of mounting on the deck, so the molded shell and its sealed storage stay intact in either layout - with factory-balanced trim whether one paddler or two climb aboard. One hull for the solo paddle and the family outing, for homes, camper vans and fleets with limited space.
Most "two-in-one" kayaks add a seat on top and call it a tandem. The ST19 works differently: its optional second cockpit locks onto transverse bulkheads already molded into the shell, so the paddler's load travels into the main structure instead of into the deck skin. That is why the boat keeps its torsional stiffness and its hatches stay dry through years of switching between layouts, and why a molded-in skeg holds the long hull on course in a beam wind whether it is paddled solo or loaded for two.
For a brand or rental operator, one convertible hull replaces two inventory lines. Stock the ST19 as a solo cruiser, then add the second cockpit for couples, families or guided tandem trips - no second model to warehouse, no split fleet. Our factory supports OEM and ODM buyers with custom RAL gelcoat shades, deck graphics and retail packaging on the same tooling, and we build this carbon fiber kayak to a target weight and price rather than offering it one way.

Four laminates on one convertible hull - pick stiffness, weight or budget.

|---|---|
| Excel | 57.3 lb / 26 kg - heat-cured epoxy Kevlar® and fiberglass over Nomex® honeycomb under gelcoat. Racing stiffness at a lower price. |
| Multi-Sport | 59.5 lb / 27 kg - single-skin carbon & Kevlar® hull with the standard Advantage deck; shrugs off class I–II rapids and shallow landings. |
| Advantage | 61.7 lb / 28 kg - vacuum-infused epoxy fiberglass over Soric® core under gelcoat. Tough, puncture-resistant value build for fleets. |
ISO 9001 process checks follow every hull from layup to final trim, and OEM and ODM buyers can audit our production floor in person. We tune the laminate to a target weight or price, run your RAL shade and deck branding on our molds, and deliver serialized QC records with each order.

FAQ
Q: Is the second cockpit a retrofit kit or part of the hull?
A: It is an engineered bolt-on system, not a glue-on accessory. The cockpit locks onto transverse bulkheads already molded into the shell, so its load travels into the kayak's main structure and the one-piece hull keeps its stiffness and sealed storage in either layout.
Q: How does a 5.8 m kayak feel when paddled solo?
A: The single cockpit sits at the balance point and the standard skeg keeps the long hull tracking, so one paddler gets the composure of a classic touring cruiser with the glide of a longer waterline. Hatches and bulkheads remain fully usable with no second cockpit fitted.
Q: Who buys a convertible kayak instead of a fixed tandem?
A: Buyers whose paddling alternates between solo and tandem: families with one storage space, camper-van owners, and fleets that want one hull to cover both rental programs. A fixed tandem is the better choice only when every trip is a two-paddler trip.
Q: Does converting between modes affect durability or the warranty?
A: No. The mounting points are laminated into the bulkheads at the factory, every hull carries serialized QC records, and the same ISO 9001 process covers both layouts. Conversions can be done at the factory or by an authorized agent without drilling the shell.
Q: What does an OEM order look like for a convertible model?
A: One hull can be sold under two SKUs - a solo cruiser and a tandem - with your brand gelcoat, deck graphics and packaging applied on our tooling. We quote both configurations against your target weight and price, with a low MOQ on first orders.
